The Annual Examination was held at Stafford on 10th and 11th April, when 16 Candidates presented themselves for examination for first-class Certificates, and 25 for second-class Certificates ; 4 of the former and 13 of the latter were successful.

ACCIDENTS. I bave pleasure in reporting that no fatal accidents occurred during the year 1906, and there were only two slight non-fatal accidents reported.

During the year five fatal and 56 non-fatal accidents were reported, resulting in five deaths and injuries to 56 persons. The corresponding figures for the previous year were four deaths and 55 persons injured.
