Amend the Law of Distress and Bankruptcy in A.D. 1927. its relation to the Hire-Purchase System.

E it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the 5 same, as follows:

1. No distress for rent shall be levied upon any Goods goods or chattels personal comprised in a hire-purchase exempt agreement or simple hiring agreement if such goods or from chattels are not the property of the tenant whose rent 10 is in arrear, and the Law of Distress Amendment Act, 8 Edw. 7. 1908, shall not apply to such goods or chattels.

2.
