FIRST REPORT

BY THE

Joint Select Committee appointed to join with a Committee of the House of Commons to consider

all Consolidation Bills in the present Session.

BEING A REPORT UPON THE

SUPREME COURT OF JUDICATURE (CONSOLIDATION) BILL [H.L.].

ORDERED TO REPORT:

That the Committee, to whom was referred the Supreme Court of Judicature (Consolidation) Bill [H.L.] have proceeded with the Bill as far as they can do so without having before them the Administration of Justice Bill, which they are to incorporate with the Judicature Bill in its final shape.

The Committee venture to express the hope that Parliament may think fit to enable them to complete their work at an early date, including the provisions now appearing in the Administration of Justice Bill, which, as the Committee recognize, will greatly improve the Consolidation,-or will instruct them if it is the pleasure of Parliament that the Bill should be reported without the incorporation of the Administration of Justice Bill.
