Another Amendment proposed, in page 2, line 37, at the end, to insert the words "provided that an employer shall not be liable to any penalty for paying wages at a rate less than the minimum rate to the worker in respect of whom an application for a permit has been made under this sub-section during the period that such application is before the committee unless the application shall have been considered and determined within fourteen days of the receipt thereof "-(Mr. Lamb).—Question proposed, "That those words be there inserted."
