Another Amendment proposed, in page 2, lines 11 and 12, to leave out the words "or to any special class of workers so employed" - (Sir Henry Cautley). - Question proposed, "That the words proposed to be left out stand part of the Clause."

Another Amendment proposed, in page 2, line 19, at the end, to insert the words :-

"Provided that in fixing conditions provision shall be made that on one week-day in each week overtime rates shall be paid after five hours have been worked" -(Mr. Stranger).

Question proposed, "That those words be there inserted."
