[Lafayette Journal, February 6, 1901.] The present plan is to gather in each county of the State all the local material available, and Mr. Blair is very carefully going over the ground. He is well equipped for the work, and his heart is in it. Very little of value will escape him; and when he has completed his work of gathering and arranging and publishing, he will have done a public service not often achieved by any man.
