Autoren-Profil (2019)

Julius Wellhausen (1844-1918) was a German biblical scholar who was best known for his study of the Pentateuch. He argued that the Pentateuch was not written by Moses but was the result of oral history & tradition. He is less well-known for his New Testament research, in which he advocated the primacy of Mark over Q.
