The author then presents Pestalozzi’s most important educational ideas in a systematic way. Dealing first with the various aspects of his ‘Method’, the author goes on to consider certain features of Pestalozzi’s theories which are of special interest – his views on discipline, on the role of teachers and parents, and on general and vocational education. This title will be of interest to students of history and education.
