When

460 ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord.

Lev. iii: 39.

I Come, ye thankful people, come,
Raise the song of Harvest Home!
All is safely gathered in

Ere the winter storms begin ;
God, our Maker, doth provide
For our wants to be supplied;
Come to God's own temple, come,
Raise the song of Harvest Home!

2 All the world is God's own field,
Fruit unto His praise to yield:
Wheat and tares therein are sown,
Unto joy or sorrow grown;

3

First the blade and then the ear, Then the full corn shall appear; Lord of harvest, grant that we Wholesome grain and pure may be.

Even so, Lord, quickly come
To Thy final Harvest Home.
Gather Thou Thy people in,
Free from sorrow, free from sin.
There forever purified

In Thy presence to abide :
Come with all Thine angels, come,
Raise the glorious Harvest Home.

Let us come before his face with thanksgiving. Ps. xcv: 2.

I Now thank we all our God,

With heart, and hands, and
voices,

Who wondrous things hath done,

In whom His world rejoices. Who from our mothers' arms

Hath blessed us on our way With countless gifts of love, And still is ours to-day.

20 may this bounteous God

Through all our life be near us, With ever joyful hearts

And blessed peace to cheer us;

And keep us in His grace,

And guide us when perplexed, And free us from all ills

In this world and the next.

3 All praise and thanks to God,
The Father, now be given,
The Saviour, King, and Lord
Of all in earth and heaven,
The one eternal God,

Whom earth and heaven adore;
For thus it was, is now,

And shall be evermore.

462 Thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the Lord thy God hath given thee.

Deut. xxvi: 11.

I Rejoice to-day with one accord,

Sing out with exultation; Rejoice and praise our mighty Lord,

Whose arm hath brought sal-
vation;

His works of love proclaim
The greatness of His name;
For He is God alone

Who hath His mercy shown;
Let all His saints adore Him!

2 When,in distress, to Him we cried, He heard our sad complaining; O trust in Him, whate'er betide, His love is all sustaining;

Triumphant songs of praise

To Him our hearts shall raise; Now every voice shall say, "O praise our God alway; Let all His saints adore Him!

3 Rejoice to-day with one accord, Sing out with exultation; Rejoice and praise our mighty Lord

Whose arm hath brought salva-
tion;

His works of love proclaim
The greatness of His name;
For He is God alone

Who hath His mercy shown;
Let all His saints adore Him.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. James i: 17.

I We plough the fields, and scatter 2 He only is the Maker

The good seed on the land, But it is fed and watered

By God's Almighty hand; He sends the snow in winter, The warmth to swell the grain, The breezes and the sunshine,

And soft, refreshing rain. All good gifts around us

Are sent from heaven above;

Then thank the Lord, O thank the Lord

For all His love.

Of all things near and far; He paints the wayside flower,

He lights the evening star; The winds and waves obey Him, By Him the birds are fed; Much more to us, His children,

He gives our daily bread. All good gifts around us

Are sent from Heaven above, Then thank the Lord, O thank the

Lord

For all His love.

(SECOND TUNE.)

3 We thank Thee, then, O Father,
For all things bright and good,
The seed-time and the harvest,
Our life, our health, our food;
Accept the gifts we offer,

For all Thy love imparts,
And, what Thou most desirest,
Our humble, thankful hearts.

All good gifts around us

Are sent from heaven above,
Then thank the Lord, O thank the Lord
For all His love.
