M. 1 'Tis He! the mighty Saviour comes, And lo, the throne of David waits 2 Thou blessed Heir of all the earth! 3 Shine forth in all Thy glory, Lord, 4 O happy day! 'tis come at last, 5 Wash'd in thy blood, the tribes of earth, With all the blest above, Shall dwell in peace united now, 6 Fruit of thy toil, Thou bleeding Lamb! These joys we owe to Thee, Then take the glory, Lord!-'tis thine! 300.—5, 6. 1 How happy are we, Our election who see, And venture, O Lord, for salvation on Thee! In Jesus approved, Eternally loved, Upheld by thy power we cannot be moved. 2 "Is sweet to recline On the bosom divine, And experience the comforts peculiar to thine; While born from above, And upheld by thy love, With singing and triumph to Zion we move. 3 Our seeking thy face, Was all of thy grace; [praise. Compared with thy love, and the blood of 6 Yet one thing we want, More holiness grant, For more of thy mind and thy image we pant; Thine image impress On Thy favourite race, O fashion and polish thy vessels of grace. 7 Thy workmanship we More fully would be, [to Thee; Lord stretch out thine hand and confirm us While onward we move To Canaan above, Come fill us with holiness, fill us with love. 8 Vouchsafe us to know Thus fit us for heaven, and glory bestow; The Lamb shall be crown'd, Salvation to Jesus thro' heaven shall resound. 301.-104th. 1 THE fountain of Christ, Lord help us to sing; The blood of our Priest, the crucified King, Which perfectly cleanses from sin and from filth, And richly dispenses salvation and health. 2 This fountain so dear, he'll freely impart; Unlock'd by the spear, it gush'd from his heart, With blood and with water-the first to atone, To cleanse us the latter-the fountain's but one. 3 This fountain from guilt not only makes pure; But gives soon as felt infallible cure; 4 This fountain though rich, from charge is quite free, The poorer the wretch, the welcomer he; Here's strength for the weakly that hither are led, Here's health for the sickly, here's life for the dead. 5 This fountain in vain has never been tried; It takes out all stain, whenever applied; The water flows sweetly, with virtue divine, To cleanse souls completely, though leprous as mine. 302.-C.
