The King of the Netherlands has given the Duke of Wellington the title of PRINCE OF WATERLOO, and the States-General have settled an estate upon his family, annually producing 20,000 Dutch florins (20004.), consisting of woods, &c. in the neighbourhood of La Belle Alliance, Hougomont, &c. The King of Saxony has conferred upon the Duke of Wellington his Family Order of " THE CROWN OF RUE." The Grand Duke of Baden has also conferred upon this Illus trious Personage his Order of "FIDELITY," of the First Class, accompanied with a gold snuff-box, enriched with diamonds of value. great Whitehall, June 22, 1815.
