In the Jungle of Cities

Set in a mythical Chicago of 1912. Presents 'an inexplicable wrestling match' between Shlink, a Chineses timber dealer, and George Garga, an assistant in a lending library. Having deliberately picked a quarrel with Garga, Shlink sets out to wreck his life, and the resulting fight to the death involves the systematic destruction of everything they own and hold dear.
