To multiply by fra&ional parts, as 1, 1, g. 83c. Rule. Multiply the price by the upper figure of the fraction, and divide the product by the lower, the quotient will be the answer; but when the upper figure is not more than one, dividing the price or sum by the lower figure gives the answer.
