ARTICLE XXIV.

Resumption and Close.

Resolved, That on account of the departure of the President by leave of Synod, the Rev. C. D. Westbrook be President pro tem., and as such sign the Minutes of Synod.

The Minutes having been read and approved Synod adjourned, and was concluded with prayer.

Of the General Synod of the Reformed Dutch Church in North America convened in the city of Albany on Wednesday the fourth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-eight. The Session continued from the fourth to the tenth day of June, inclusive.

FORMATION OF SYNOD.

ARTICLE I.

Opening of Synod.

The Synod was opened with prayer by the Rev. C. C. Cuyler, the President of the last General Synod; who preached a sermon in the evening of the first day of the Session, from Solomon's Song vi. 10.
