A bill from the Stated Clerk, amounting to $16 81, for expenses incurred by him in the business of Synod, was presented, and referred to the Committee on Accounts.

A bill, amounting to $11 93, was presented, from Rev. J. M. Mathews, D. D., for expenses incurred in attending the meeting of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, and referred to the Committee on Accounts.

The Committee on Accounts reported, and their Report was adopted, and is as follows :

The Committee on Accounts. Report

That the bills of the Stated Clerk of General Synod, and one of our delegates who attended the late meeting of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, amounting to $28 74, have been examined, and approved, and the Committee recommend, that the Treasurer of Synod be directed to pay the same.

The Committee submit for consideration, the following resolution :Resolved, That our Delegates to corresponding Churches, be allowed, in lieu of their expenses, four cents per mile, for the number of miles they may have to travel, in going to, and returning from the places, where those Churches hold their annual meetings.

The Door-keeper's bill, amounting to $11 37, was presented, and ordered to be paid.

ARTICLE XXV.

Resumption and Close.

Resolved, That the Stated Clerk publish 750 copies of the Minutes of this Session of Synod, duly authenticated; and that he distribute among the Classes the number of copies directed by them.

The Minutes were read and approved.

ARTICLE XXVI.

Adjournment.

Synod adjourned, to meet in the city of New Brunswick, on the first Wednesday in June, 1830, at 10 o'clock, A. M.

The collections, which Synod have directed to be made in all the Churches under their care, are:

For the Theological College, on the first Sabbath in November.

The Twenty-five Cent Contribution, on the first Sabbath in May.

For the Missionary Fund, on Thanksgiving Day.

It is earnestly requested by Synod, that no Minister, or Consistory, will neglect to make these collections at the time appointed, or, as soon thereafter as practicable, and forward the same to Mr. Isaac Young, the Treasurer of General Synod.
