The Papers prepared by members of this Society were of late years published in the "Proceedings" of the Royal Dublin Society, and also in a separate form as the "Journal" of the Royal Geological Society of Ireland. At the present time the Society holds no independent meetings, and its funds have been wholly vested (for Geological Publications) in the Royal Irish Academy. An index to Vol. VIII. of the "Journal," hitherto wanting, was issued, under the Rev. M. H. Close's care, about April 1901.
