The benefits to be derived by the Public from Insurance against Loss by Fire are so great and numerous, when compared with its trifling cost, as to render it an imperative duty on every one to avail themselves of the protection afforded by this Institution, against the destructive ravages of Fire, which in a few moments may lay waste the fruits of a whole life of industry.

Persons insured with this inststitution are free from all responsibility, the Capital above being guaranteed by a numerous and wealthy Proprietary.

The Rates are the same as at other offices, whilst Periodical Returns are made to the parties insured. This Office is distinguished by its liberality and promptness in the settlement of Claims.

In proof of the public confidence in the principles and conduct of this Establishment, it will suffice to state that the total business now exceeds £75,000,000.

No charge is made for Policies transferred from other offices.

All Insurances have now the benefit of the reduced Duty of 1s. 6d. per cent.

SPECIAL ADVANTAGES OFFERED BY THIS SOCIETY. The Rates of Premium are lower than those of some Offices by nearly 10 per cent. Ample security offered by its Accumulated Capital

Premiums may be paid annually, or by Half-yearly or Quarterly instalments, at the option of the Assured.

Policies are issued on participating and non-participating scales.

One-half of the first five Annual Premiums may remain as a permament charge upon Policies granted for the whole duration of Life.

Whole World Policies are granted on reasonable terms.

Loans are granted on the Security of Policies issued by this Society, after payment of three years' premium.

Medical Referees are paid by the Society.

No charge is made for Stamps on Policies for Life Assurance.

No liability is incurred by serving in any Militia or Volunteer Corps in the United Kingdom.

Annuities are also granted by this Society.

Thirty days' grace are allowed for the payment of premiums.
