And I will declare thy greatness. They shall utter the memory of thy great goodness,

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him,

To all that call upon him in

And shall sing of thy righteous- truth.

ness.

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion;

Slow to anger, and of great mercy.

The LORD is good to all;

And his tender mercies are over all his works.

All thy works shall give thanks unto thee, O LORD;

And thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom,

And talk of thy power;

To make known to the sons of men thy mighty acts,

And the glory of the majesty of thy kingdom.

Thy kingdom is an everlasting

kingdom,

And thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

The LORD upholdeth all that fall, And raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their food in due season.

Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him;

He also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The LORD preserveth all them that love him;

But all the wicked will he destroy.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD;

And let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

THE THIRTIETH DAY

EVENING WORSHIP
PSALM 146

PRAISE ye the LORD.

Praise the Lord, O my soul. While I live will I praise the LORD:

I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

Put not your trust in princes, Nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth;

In that very day his thoughts perish.

Happy is he that hath the God of

The LORD is righteous in all his Jacob for his help,

ways,

And gracious in all his works.

Whose hope is in the Lord his

God:

Which made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is;

Which keepeth truth for ever: Which executeth justice for the oppressed;

Which giveth food to the hungry: The LORD looseth the prisoners; The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind;

His understanding is infinite. The LORD upholdeth the meek: He bringeth the wicked down to the ground.

Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving;

Sing praises upon the harp unto our God:

Who covereth the heaven with

The LORD raiseth up them that clouds, and prepareth rain for the are bowed down;

The Lord loveth the righteous; The LORD preserveth the strangers;

He upholdeth the fatherless and widow;

But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

The Lord shall reign for ever, Thy God, O Zion, unto all generations.

Praise ye the Lord.

PSALM 147

PRAISE ye the LORD; For it is good to sing praises unto our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is comely.

The LORD doth build up Jerusalem;

He gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars;

He giveth them all their names. Great is our LORD, and mighty in power;

earth,

Who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

He giveth to the beast his food, And to the young ravens which cry.

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse:

He taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man.

The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him,

In those that hope in his mercy. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; Praise thy God, O Zion. For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates;

He hath blessed thy children within thee.

He maketh peace in thy borders; He filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

He sendeth out his commandment upon earth;

His word runneth very swiftly.
He giveth snow like wool;

He scattereth the hoar frost like ashes.

He casteth forth his ice like morsels:

Who can stand before his cold?

He sendeth out his word, and melteth them:

He causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

He sheweth his word unto Jacob, His statutes and his judgements unto Israel.

He hath not dealt so with any nation:

And as for his judgements, they have not known them.

Praise ye the LORD.

the LORD from the heavens:
Praise him in the heights.
Praise ye him, all his angels:
Praise ye him, all his host.
Praise ye him, sun and moon:
Praise him, all ye stars of light.
Praise him, ye heavens of heav-

ens,

And ye waters that be above the heavens.

Let them praise the name of the LORD:

He hath made a decree which shall not pass away.

Praise the LORD from the earth,
Ye dragons, and all deeps:
Fire and hail, snow and vapour;
Stormy wind, fulfilling his word:
Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars:
Beasts and all cattle;

Creeping things and flying fowl:
Kings of the earth and all peo-

ples;

Princes and all judges of the earth:

Both young men and maidens;
Old men and children:

Let them praise the name of the
LORD;

For his name alone is exalted: His glory is above the earth and heaven.

And he hath lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints;

Even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

He will beautify the meek with salvation.

Let the saints exult in glory: Let them sing for joy upon their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,

And a two-edged sword in their hand;

To execute vengeance upon the nations,

And punishments upon the peoples;

To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;

To execute upon them the judgement written:

This honor have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance:

Praise him with stringed instruments and the pipe.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.

Praise ye the Lord.

MORNING WORSHIP

ISAIAH 52:7-10

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,

That publisheth peace, that bringeth good tidings of good,

That publisheth salvation; That saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

The voice of thy watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing;

For they shall see, eye to eye, when the Lord returneth to Zion.

Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem:

For the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations;

And all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

ISAIAH 9:1-7

IN the former time he brought

into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali.

But in the latter time hath he made it glorious by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the nations.

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light:

They that dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Thou hast multiplied the nation, Thou hast increased their joy: They joy before thee according to the joy in harvest,

As men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

For the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder,

The rod of his oppressor, thou hast broken as in the day of Midian. For unto us a child is born, Unto us a son is given; And the government shall be upon his shoulder:

And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government
