To this Purpose he had long fince prepared the Materials with which the following Treatifes have been compiled; but his Death prevented his putting the laft Hand to the perfecting of this great Work according to the Plan he had defigned; fo that one or two of the latter Treatifes have been left imperfect. The Performance however, having been fince his Death carefully revised and approved by R. C. D. D. was judged to be very worthy of the Prefs, and fuch as could not fail of being both highly profitable and acceptable to the Public, at whofe Defire it is now published, and to whom it is here prefented.
