The total number of racing days in 1923 was 158; in 1922 was 154; in 1921 was 153; in 1920 was 146; in 1919 was 145; in 1918 was 123; in 1916 was 107.

The following are the items covering all the expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1924:

This Commission is not and never has been a burden on the State Treasury. Its total expenses are paid by the several racing associations directly to the State Comptroller.
