Notwithstanding the provisions of section sixteen Amendment of the Allotments (Scotland) Act, 1922, any local of 12 & 13 authority may take proceedings under the provisions Geo. 5. c. 52, of the Allotments Acts relating to allotments if, in the s. 16. opinion of the local authority, the expenses referred to 10 in the said section may reasonably be expected, after the proceedings are taken, to exceed the receipts of the local authority under these provisions by no greater amount than would be produced by a rate of one penny in the pound. 15 20 2.-(1) This Act may be cited as the Allotments Short title, (Scotland) Act, 1926; and the Allotments (Scotland) Acts, construc1892 to 1922, and this Act may be cited as the Allot- tion and ments (Scotland) Acts, 1892 to 1926, and shall be extent. construed together as one Act.
