present, by a vote in favor of the amendment of two-thirds of the members present, provided that notice of the proposed amendments shall have been posted by the Secretary openly in the Club rooms at least twenty days before such meeting, and shall have been mailed to each member at least ten days before such meeting. And provided also that such amendment shall have been previously approved by a majority of all the members of the Board of Directors.

The Secretary shall so post and mail notices of a proposed amendment when requested to do so in writing by the Board of Directors.

RESOLUTIONS

At a regular meeting of the Board of Directors held February 3, 1900, there being present the President, the Secretary, and Directors Northrup, Lewis, Hazard and Jenney, it was unanimously resolved:

That the total membership of the Clubresident and non-resident-be limited to two hundred.

At a regular meeting of the Board of Directors held February 7, 1903, there being present the President, the Treasurer, and Directors Northrup, Lewis, Wickes, Farley, Hancock and Bardeen, it was unanimously resolved:

That the resident membership of the Club be increased to two hundred and fifty.

HOUSE RULES

The Club rooms will be open to members at all times during the twenty-four hours, but the custodian will be in attendance only from II A. M. to 12 P. M. Keys will be furnished to members at cost, upon application to the House Committee or the custodian. When leaving the rooms, in the absence of the custodian or other servants, members must take pains to see that the windows are closed, the lights extinguished, and the outer door locked.

At the request of a member of the Club, any Director or member of the House Committee may extend the privileges of the Club for a period of fifteen days to any University or College graduate, not a resident of the city. Visitors' cards, properly signed and countersigned, must be obtained for all guests under this rule.
