SEE, stern Aquarius mounts the stormy sky,

Wide o'er its cope his dusky mantle throws, And summons rigid Eurus to supply

His drizzling urn with hoary sleeting snows.

Sad, like these scenes, his fancy damp'd and chill,

How shall the bard, O Muse! thy call obey,--

To hail, on yonder insulated hill,

Its hospitable Master's natal day?
