Clause 1.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Committee do now adjourn "—(Mr. Herbert Williams).

Motion and Question, by leave, withdrawn.

An Amendment proposed, in page 1, line 8, after the word "charter," to insert the words or under The Companies Act, 1862, The Companies (Consolidation) Act, 1908, or any Act amending those Acts or either of them -(Mr. Broad).-Question proposed, "That those words "be there inserted."

Motion made, and Question, "That the Committee do now adjourn to a date to be decided upon by the Chairman"-(Mr. Cape),-put, and agreed to.
