This study of W.B. Yeats' aesthetic of artistic power demonstrates his centrality regarding the concept that art might shape life. Drawing upon Irish bardic tradition, Yeats developed a stance that enabled him to reconcile literary craftsmanship, occult thought and Irish nationalism.
