Nowhere are we instructed to look for a pre- or post-millennium. During his earthly ministry, Christ was careful to inform his disciples of his departure from them. But he also taught them, "I WILL COME AGAIN" (John 14:3). Yes, the same Christ who once trod the shores of Galilee; who traveled over the Judean hills, ministering salvation to hungry souls and healing to all those who were oppressed of the devil, is coming again. To the disciples who stood gazing into heaven at the time of Christ's ascension, the angels announced, "This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11).
