A contribution of 100,0001. is payable annually by the Government of India on account of His Majesty's Ships in Indian waters of which a portion is credited to this Subhead. The Subhead also includes: Stoppages of pay from men while in Cells, Mulcts, and receipts from Purchases of Discharge. Pay of crews of H.M. Ships recovered as an item of demurrage in Admiralty claims arising out of collisions, &c. Payments made by the G.P.O. and Board of Trade in respect of certain Wireless and Signal Stations, respectively. Payments made by Boys for work done by Civilian Tailors and Shoemakers in Training Establishments and other Miscellaneous receipts. Repayments by Parents and Guardians of Naval Cadets in seagoing ships of the sums referred to in footnote (a) on page 13. Recoveries from the Ministry of Transport in connection with Survey work in the River Severn. Recoveries of pay and allowances of Officers and men engaged on repayment work, &c. |
