(1) Some understanding these Words literally, have been led into Very great Mistakes, which would have been prevented, if Translators had rendred them as they are to be understood. Our Lord's Meaning undoubtedly is, some live as Eunuchs do for the Kingdom of Heavens 'fake' That is, they do not Marry. But if any Cannot live chaftly without Marriage, it is their Duty to Marry. But if they have received fuch a special Gift from God, as to be able to preserve their Chafticy unmarried, they may fo continue, withouț making Vows, which often entangle the Conscience.
