to heaven, and the angels of God afcending and descending on it. And the Lord stood above it and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham, thy father, and the God of Isaac, the land whereon thou liest to thee will I give it, and to thy feed; and tby feed mall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt Spread abroad unto the west, and to the east, to the north, and to the south, and in thee and in thy feed fall all the families of the earth be blesed; and I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places wherever thou goeft, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee until I bave done that which I have Spoken to thee of. According to the prophet Daniel, this prophecy was complete and full at the coming of the Meffiah. gih chapter: Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people, and upon the holy city, to knish the transgreffon, and to make an end of fins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to real up the vifion and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. By comparing and taking both prophecies in their true meaning, the first covenant gives place, and is translated into the new or covenant of the Messiah. I am with thee and will keep thee in all places wherever thou goeft, and will bring tbee again into this land; for I will not leave thee until I have done that which I have Spoken to thee of; that is, Jacob's posterity should be preserved a nation, and inhabitants of the promised land until the Mefliah whom, according to Daniel, just quoted, vision and prophecy should be sealed up.

The death .of the Mefliah put the seal and completion to the first covenant; settled, confirmed and established the second, which explains the prophecy; that in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the obla. tion to cease. The last of your prophers con. firms the rejection of the Jewish sacrifices and worship; and introduction and confirmation of the new. By what authority his disobedience, though commanded by our chief-priests and others, never would de. clare, suffering his disciples to go through the corn-fields, rubbing and eating the corn, and eating in common without washing their dirty hands. Mofes. Turning himself the Son of God, taking upon himself to forgive fins, saying, if the temple, that was upwards of forty years in building, was destroyed, he would raise it in

Boy. His magic, if you please?

Mofes. I call the whole, that seems supernatural, magic, or night of the enemy; and his walking on the water as if it was dry land ; commanding the storms to cease ; feeding at different times several thousands with three or four loaves, and two or three small fishes, and many other deceptions, which draw the world after him to make him their king.

Luiber.
