HEREAS the Minister of Health has made the
Provisional Orders set forth in the schedule hereto

under the provisions of the Public Health Act 1875 and 38 & 39 Vict. the Local Government Act 1888:

And whereas it is requisite that the said Orders should be confirmed by Parliament:

Be it therefore enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal and Commons in this present 10 Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows:

BOROUGH OF ABERGAVENNY.

Provisional Order for repealing altering and amending
certain Local Acts and confirming Acts.

WHEREAS the Borough of Abergavenny (hereinafter referred 5
to as "the Borough ") is an urban district of which the Mayor
Aldermen and Burgesses acting by the Council (hereinafter
referred to as "the Corporation
the Corporation") are the local authority for the
purposes of the Public Health Act 1875 and there are in force
in the Borough the unrepealed provisions of the Abergavenny 10
Improvement Act 1854 the Abergavenny Improvement Act
1860 the Abergavenny Improvement Act 1871 the Abergavenny
Order 1893 (hereinafter referred to as "the Order of 1893 ")
which was confirmed by the Local Government Board's Pro-
visional Orders Confirmation (No. 15) Act 1893 the Abergavenny 15
Order 1905 which was confirmed by the Local Government
Board's Provisional Orders Confirmation (No. 10) Act 1905 and
the Abergavenny Order 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "the
Order of 1908") which was confirmed by the Local Government
Board's Provisional Orders Confirmation (No. 7) Act 1908 (all 20
which said Local Acts and Confirming Acts so far as the latter
refer to the said Orders are together hereinafter referred to as
the Local Acts and Confirming Acts ");

And whereas by the Local Acts and Confirming Acts provision is made for the borrowing of moneys by the Corporation 25 as to the time within which moneys so borrowed are to be repaid and for the formation of sinking funds for the repayment of such moneys;

And whereas the Corporation have made application to the Minister of Health for the issue of a Provisional Order to repeal 30 alter or amend the Local Acts and Confirming Acts in the manner hereinafter set forth

Now therefore the Minister of Health in pursuance of the powers given to him by Sections 297 and 303 of the Public Health Act 1875 and by any other Statutes in that behalf hereby orders 35 that from and after the date of the Act of Parliament confirming this Order the Local Acts and Confirming Acts shall be repealed altered or amended so that the following provisions shall take effect that is to say :
