The Rev. Abel M Ewen was chosen Scribe.

The Rev. William L. Strong was chosen Moderator.
The Rev. Nathaniel Hewit was chosen Assistant Scribe.
Certificates of Delegation were read.

The meeting was opened with prayer by the Moderator.
The rules of the Association were read.

The Rev. Dr. Perkins, and Rev. Messrs. Fitch, Gillet, Colton, Grout, and Brace were appointed a Committee of Overtures.

The Associational Sermon was preached by the Rev. Erastus Learned, from Phil. iii. 1. `

The Rev. Messrs. Nash, Gillet, Eaton, Smith, and Osgood were chosen a Committee, to prepare from the reports which may be exhibited to this body, a general narrative of the state of religion, within the limits of the General Association of Connecticut, and of the other Ecclesiastical bodies connected with it, to be exhibited at the present session.

The reports of the District Associations on the state of religion, and of other Ecclesiastical bodies in connection with this, were read and committed.

The report of the Trustees of the Missionary Society of Connecticut was read and accepted. See Appendix. No. 1.

The account of the Treasurer of the General Association was read and accepted. See Appendix, No. II.

WEDNESDAY, June 18.

Received the reports of the delegates from the General Association of last year, to the several Ecclesiastical bodies in connection with this.

The following persons were chosen Trustees of the Missionary Society of Connecticut, for one year from the first Wednesday of August next, viz. The Hon. Jonathan Brace, John Caldwell, Esq. Enoch Perkins, Esq. Samuel Pitkin, Esq. Thomas Hubbard, Esq. William W. Ellsworth, Esq. the Rev. Messrs. Nathan Perkins, D. D. Calvin Chapin, D. D. Moses C. Welch, D. D. Samuel Goodrich, Henry A. Rowland, and Abel Flint, D. D.

Andrew Kingsbury, Esq. was chosen Treasurer, and the Rev. Samuel Whittelsey, Auditor of the Missionary Society of Connecticut, for one year from the first Wednesday of August next.

A report, from the Committee appointed on the bequest of Doctor Everest, was read and accepted. See Appendix, No. III.

Voted, That a Committee of three persons be appointed from this body to nominate a Committee for the management of the funds left by Dr. Solomon Everest, of Canton, by his last will and testament to the disposal of a Committee to be from time to time chosen by this body. The Rev. Messrs. Gillett, Ogden, and Crane were accordingly chosen the Committee of nomination.
