S.-COMMISSIONS NOT SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED FOR-
The excess on the original provision of £2,582 is due to
expenditure on the Coal Industry (1925) Commission
which was appointed after the original Estimate had been
presented. The Commission was appointed by Royal
Warrant, dated 5th September, 1925, to inquire into and
report upon the economic position of the Coal Industry
and the conditions affecting it and to make any recom-
mendations for the improvement thereof.

The expenditure on the Commission for the period of seven
months, ending 31st March, 1926, is estimated at £6,225
as follows-
