Foreign Language Allowances of 2s. 6d. a week to certain Overseers and Sorting Clerks and Telegraphists at Liverpool, and of 5s. a week to Telephonists and Night Telephonists employed on Continental lines in the London Telephone Service. Technical Allowance of 3s. a week to Telegraphists, Counter Clerks and Telegraphists and Sorting Clerks and Telegraphists who have passed examination in Manipulative and Technical Telegraphy and Magnetism.

Allowances of 2s. 6d. or 4s. a week to certain Telegraphists in London and Sorting Clerks and Telegraphists in Provincial offices while acting as Dirigeur of Baudot multiplex telegraph apparatus.

Allowances of 5s. a week to certain Telegraphists in London for working special wires in Newspaper Offices.
Motor-driving Allowances of 1s. a day to Postmen driving Departmental Motor Vans.

Telegraphists (London) and Provincial Male Sorting Clerks and Telegraphists at offices where there is a separate staff for telegraph work, are allowed, if they pass the Departmental Examination for promotion to proceed to a maximum 28. in excess of the ordinary maximum of their class.
