The Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him. I was glad when they said unto me, we will go into the house of the Lord. This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Seeing that we have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God; let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him, must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.

I will arise, and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

CHRISTMAS

Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

GOOD FRIDAY

Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold and see if there be any sorrow like unto My sorrow, which is done unto Me, wherewith the Lord hath afflicted Me.

EASTER SUNDAY

Christ is risen. The Lord is risen indeed!

Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

(The Minister)

GOD spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

(The Minister and Congregation)

I. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that. hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.

III. Thou shalt not take the Name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in vain.

IV. Remember the Sabbath-day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God; in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath-day, and hallowed it.

V. Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon

the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

[blocks in formation]

IX. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

X. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.

(The Minister)

HEAR also the words of our Lord Jesus, how He saith: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The Minister

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly.

The Congregation Nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of

the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord;

And in His law doth he meditate day and night.
Blessed are the poor in spirit;

For theirs is the kindgom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn.
For they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek;

For they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after right

eousness;

For they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful;
For they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart;

For they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers;

For they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness, sake;

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake.

Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven.

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the holy city.

The Apostles' Creed

I BELIEVE in GOD THE FATHER Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in JESUS CHRIST His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost; born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven; and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the HOLY GHOST; the holy Catholic Church; the Communion of Saints; the Forgiveness of sins; the Resurrection of the body; and the Life everlasting. Amen.

OUR

The Lord's Prayer

UR Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

ALMIGHTY God, unto whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and

from whom no secrets are hid; Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of Thy Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love Thee, and worthily magnify Thy Holy Name; through Christ our Lord. Amen.

A General Confession

(To be said by the Minister and Congregation)

ALMIGHTY and most merciful Father: We have erred, and strayed from

ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against Thy holy laws. We
