Him in all thy ways, He'll give thee strength whate'er be - tide thee,

chang-ing love Builds on the rock that naught can move.

A-men.

2 Only be still and wait His leisure

In cheerful hope, with heart content
To take whate'er thy Father's pleasure
And all-discerning love hath sent;
Nor doubt our inmost wants are known
To Him who chose us for His own.

3 Sing, pray, and keep His ways unswerving,
So do thine own part faithfully,
And trust His word; though undeserving,
Thou yet shalt find it true for thee:

God never yet forsook at need

The soul that trusted Him indeed. Amen.

For still our an-cient foe Doth seek to work us woe; His craft and power are

great; And armed with cru-el hate, On earth is not his

qual. A-men.

2 Did we in our own strength confide, Our striving would be losing; Were not the right Man on our side,

The Man of God's own choosing.
Dost ask Who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is He;

Lord Sabaoth is His name,
From age to age the same,

And He must win the battle.

3 And though this world, with devils filled,

Should threaten to undo us;

We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us.

The prince of darkness grim,
We tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure,
For lo! his doom is sure,

One little word shall fell him!

4 That word above all earthly powers,
No thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours
Through Him Who with us sideth.
Let goods and kindred go,

This mortal life also:
The body they may kill:
God's truth abideth still,

His kingdom is forever. Amen.

Though hosts en - camp

2 Place on the Lord reliance,

My soul, with courage wait;
His truth be thine affiance,
When faint and desolate:

His might thine heart shall strengthen,
His love thy joy increase;

Mercy thy days shall lengthen,

The Lord will give thee peace. Amen.
