Ac-cept-ed at Thy throne of grace Let this pe- ti - tion rise. A-men.

2 Give me a calm, a thankful heart,
From every murmur free;
The blessings of Thy grace impart,
And make me live to Thee.

3 Let the sweet hope that Thou art mine My life and death attend;

Thy presence through my journey shine, And crown my journey's end. Amen. ANNE STEELE, alt.

2 Peace, perfect peace, by thronging duties pressed?
To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

3 Peace, perfect peace, with sorrows surging round?
On Jesus' bosom nought but calm is found.

4 Peace, perfect peace, with loved ones far away?
In Jesus' keeping we are safe, and they.

5 Peace, perfect peace, our future all unknown?
Jesus we know, and He is on the throne.

6 Peace, perfect peace, death shadowing us and ours?
Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers.

7 It is enough: earth's struggles soon shall cease,
And Jesus call us to heaven's perfect peace. Amen.

2 Jesus, the weary wanderer's rest,
Give me Thy easy yoke to bear:
With steadfast patience arm my breast,
With spotless love and lowly fear.

3 Be Thou, O Rock of Ages, nigh;

So shall each murmuring thought be gone;
And grief and care and fear shall fly,
As clouds before the mid-day sun.

4 Speak to my warring passions, peace;
Say to my trembling heart, be still:
Thy power my strength and fortress is,

For all things serve Thy sovereign will.

5 O death, where is thy sting? where now
Thy boasted victory, O grave?

Who shall contend with God, or who

Can hurt whom God delights to save? Amen.

A- men.
