[blocks in formation]

morning our song shall rise to Thee: Holy, Holy, Holy!

mer-ci-ful and might-y! God in Three Persons, Blessed Trin-i- ty! A-men.

2 Holy, Holy, Holy! all the saints adore Thee,

Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,

Which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.

3 Holy, Holy, Holy! though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see,
Only Thou art holy: there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in power, in love, and purity.

4 Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!

All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea:

Holy, Holy, Holy! merciful and mighty!

God in Three Persons, Blessed Trinity! Amen.

Light refuse not,

But His Spirit's voice obey;
Thou with Him shalt dwell, beholding
Light enfolding

All things in unclouded day. Amen.

(J=96) Ev'ry morning mercies new Fall as fresh as morning dew;

24 Z0-4

Ev'ry morn - ing let us pay

Tribute with the ear- ly day;

For Thy mer-cies, Lord, are sure, Thy com-pas-sion doth en-dure. A men.

2 Still the greatness of Thy love
Daily doth our sins remove;
Daily, far as east from west,
Lifts the burden from the breast;
Gives unbought, to those who pray,
Strength to stand in evil day.

3 Let our prayers each morn prevail,
That these gifts may never fail;
And, as we confess the sin
And the tempter's power within,
Feed us with the Bread of Life,
Fit us for our daily strife.

4 As the morning light returns,
As the sun with splendor burns,
Teach us still to turn to Thee,
Ever blessed Trinity,

With our hands our hearts to raise,
In unfailing prayer and praise. Amen.
