An Act to make permanent section one of the A.D. 1927. Aliens Restriction (Amendment) Act, 1919.

E it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, 5 as follows:

1. So much of section one of the Aliens Restriction S. 1. of (Amendment) Act, 1919, or any Act extending the dura- 9 & 10Geo.5. tion of that section as limits the duration of that section, c. 92. to be shall cease to have effect; and, accordingly, the enact- permanent. 10 ments mentioned in the Schedule to this Act are hereby

repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.

2. This Act may be cited as the Aliens Restriction Short title. Act, 1927, and the Aliens Restriction Acts, 1914 and 15 1919, and this Act may be cited together as the Aliens Restriction Acts, 1914 to 1927.

A.D. 1927.

1. This Act may be cited as the Architects (Regis- Short title. tration) Act, 1927.

The expression "the Institute " means the Royal
Institute of British Architects:

The expression "the Council means the Council of
