Amend the provisions of the Criminal Appeal A.D. 1927. (Scotland) Act, 1926, with regard to the power of the Secretary of State to refer a case, or any point arising therein, to the High Court of Justiciary.

E it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the 5 same, as follows:

1. Notwithstanding anything contained in section Power to nineteen of the Criminal Appeal (Scotland) Act, 1926, refer cases the power conferred on the Secretary of State by section of persons sixteen of that Act to refer a case or any point arising 10 therein to the High Court of Justiciary shall be exer- 31st Octoeiseable in the case of a person convicted on or before ber 1926. the thirty-first day of October, nineteen hundred and twenty-six, in like manner as if he had been convicted after that date.

2. This Act may be cited as the Criminal Appeal Short title. (Scotland) Act, 1927.

Incorporate the Commissioners of Crown Lands; A.D. 1927. to amend the Law relating to the powers and duties of the said Commissioners in respect of the possessions and land revenues of the Crown under their management; to provide for the transfer to the London and Gloucester Diocesan Boards of Finance, respectively, of certain moneys held by the said Commissioners for ecclesiastical purposes in those dioceses; and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid.

1.-(1) The persons for the time being holding office Incorporaas Commissioners of Crown Lands shall by that name tion of be a body corporate for all purposes, and as such may 10 exercise all the powers and shall perform all the duties of Crown which immediately before the commencement of this Act Lands. were to be exercised and performed by any person as a Commissioner of Crown Lands.
