Provide for the abolition of wheelless tubs in

E it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, 5 as follows:

A.D. 1927,

1. (1) It shall be unlawful for any owner or Prohibition owners of coal mines, whether the coal seams are of the use reached by vertical shaft or adit or inclined plane, to of wheelless employ any person to convey coal by means of tubs, 10 hutches or boxes not properly mounted upon wheels and running upon a properly constructed track.

(2) This Act shall have effect as if it formed part of the Coal Mines Act, 1911, and the Acts amending that Act.

Render illegal certain agreements as to the
selling price of coal.

E it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, 5 as follows:

1. Any agreement made between individual traders or companies for the purpose of fixing the selling price of coal shall be a criminal offence.

Any person who is a party, on his own behalf or on 10 behalf of a company, to such an agreement shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred pounds, or to a term of imprisonment with or without hard labour for any period not exceeding six months, or to both such fine and such imprisonment.
