Amend the Law relating to the sale and supply A.D. 1927. of intoxicating liquors in clubs; and for purposes

in connection therewith.

E it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, 5 as follows:-

1.-(1) The hours during which intoxicating liquor Permitted may be sold or supplied in the premises of any club shall hours. be the hours for the time being fixed by order of the licensing justices of the licensing district in the case of 10 licensed premises: Provided that those justices may, by special order if satisfied that the special requirements of any specified club render it desirable, vary the said hours (within the limits imposed by the Licensing Act, 1921) in relation to that club.

(2) Nothing in this section shall affect the powers of justices under section fifty-seven of the Licensing (Consolidation) Act, 1910 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act"), as amended by the Licensing Act, 1921.
