II. Let Ifr'el in his creators rejoice, and praises fing: Let all who Sion's children are be joyful in their king. III. Let them found praise with inftruments unto his holy name, And with their choiceft melody fing praises to the fame: IV For God doth pleasure take in those PSALM CXLIX. I. ND in his glory excellent AN let all his faints rejoice, Let them when they rife from their graves aloud lift up their voice. And in their mouth let them exalt III. To III. To execute the vengeance due upon the heathen all, And make deferved punishment upon the people fall: IV. And ev❜n with chains, as pris'ners, bind V. On them the judgment to perform This honor is to all his faints AFTERNOON. PSALM CL. The prophet here continues the fubject of praife. It is his concluding hymn, and he finishes with calling for more praife to God. He repeats his calls no lefs than thirteen times in these few verses. Let us praise ever so often, ever fo well, he would have us to try to do it more, and to do it better: And still though we have failed (and we shall fail for ever) yet to take up fresh praifes in our mouths, never wearied of this bleffed employment upon earth: for it will be our holy employment and sweetest happiness in heaven. Though we have gone through the pfalms and are finishing to day, yet the prophet would have us for an higher note of praise than we ever fang in. O may we have fome of their Spirit to pray amo among whom not only every thing that breathes, but alfo every breath praiseth the Lord. May God the holy Ghost fill our hearts with gratitude, and help us to fing with heavenly joy and gladnefs unto the Lord our God. I. PRAISE ye the Lord: Gods praife within His fanctuary fee ye raife, And to him in the firmament Of his great pow'r afcribe ye praife. II. Because of all his mighty acts III.
