1. O Lord of heaven, and earth, and sea, To Thee all praise and glo - ry be;

[ocr errors][ocr errors][merged small][merged small][merged small][merged small][ocr errors][merged small]

The golden sunshine, vernal air,
Sweet flowers and fruits, Thy love declare;
When harvests ripen, Thou art there,
Who givest all.

3
For peaceful homes, and healthful days,
For all the blessings earth displays,
We owe Thee thankfulness and praise,
Who givest all.

4
For souls redeemed, and sins forgiven,
For means of grace, and hopes of heaven,
Father, what can to Thee be given,
Who givest all ?

5
We lose what on ourselves we spend,
We have as treasure without end,
Whatever, Lord, to Thee we lend,
Who givest all.

6
Whatever, Lord, we lend to Thee
Repaid a thousandfold will be;
Then gladly will we give to Thee,
Who givest all.

7
To Thee from whom we all derive
Our life, our gifts, our power to give;
O may we ever with Thee live,
Who givest all. Amen.

4 For Thy Church, that evermore

Lifteth holy hands above,
Offering up on every shore

Her pure sacrifice of love:
Christ our God, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

5
For Thyself, best Gift Divine !

To our race so freely given,
For that great, great love of Thine,

Peace on earth, and joy in heaven;
Christ our God, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

Amen.

5 I thank Thee, Lord, that here our souls,

Though amply blest,
Can never find, although they seek,

A perfect rest;
Nor ever shall, until they lean
On Jesus' breast. Amen.
