Another Amendment proposed, in page 3, line 15, at the end, to add the words :

"The provisions of this section shall not apply to a person who does not employ persons in painting buildings as part of their regular employment."—(Mr. Harney).

Question proposed, "That those words be there added." Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.

Another Amendment made, in page 3, line 12, at the end, by adding the words :

"Provided that this section does not apply where the persons employed are persons whose ordinary occupation does not include the painting of buildings -(Captain Hacking).
