Clause 1.

Amendment proposed, in page 1, lines 10 and 11, to leave out the words "not being the chimney of a private dwellinghouse"-(Mr. Scurr).-Question proposed, "That the words. proposed to be left out stand part of the Clause."

Another Amendment proposed, in page 2, line 13, to leave out the word "industrial," in order to insert the word "similar"-(Colonel Sir Arthur Holbrook),—instead thereof. Question, "That the word 'industrial' stand part of the Clause,”-put, and agreed to.

Amendment made, in page 2, line 20, at the end, by inserting the words:-

"An order made under this sub-section for including any process amongst the processes specified in section three hundred and thirty-four of the Act or for excluding any process therefrom may contain conditions and limitations subject to which the inclusion or exclusion is to take effect"-(Mr. Neville Chamberlain).

Another Amendment proposed, in page 3, line 7, to leave out the word "twenty-five," in order to insert the word "ten "-(Mr. Herbert Williams),-instead thereof.—Question proposed, "That the word 'twenty-five' stand part of the Clause."
