The Tantalizing Baba'

Imagine a magical trip in the art of cookery, through the science of the ingredients, and the historical origin of the recipes ... "dressed" with a lot of fun. Imagine a wonderful journey in the land of food and in the realm of creativity. Our journey commences in the sweetest world. We will be travelling from the court of Kings Stanislav, where by an happy "accident" the Baba' was "born," to the 19th Century when a young and very inattentive (...fortunately!) apprentice inadvertently poured hot cream into a bowl of chocolate. Escoffier, after getting really angry at him, developed the "mistake" and invented the delicious Truffles. We will be sailing with Captain Hanson who, having difficulty steering his ship while holding his mother's dough-nut, impaled it on one of the spokes of his steering wheel. Satisfied with his new dough-nut holder, he ordered his cook to henceforth prepare all dough-nuts with holes in the center. We will land in other beautiful and "tasteful" places and recipes, all of them a new discovery to enjoy together! The books form a collections aimed at children between the age of 5 and 11, that is at children in Primary Schools, .... but may be fun from 5 till 99! At the end of each recipe, we will be "introduced" to a special host who will tell about himself and "his family" and will explain to the children his role in promoting our well-being.
