The Descendants of Martin-Mathew Ford - Born Ca. 1661, Wife, Lydia Griffin, Born June 21, 1664 and John Jacob Menck (Mench), Born April 7 1826, Wife Mary Witting (Vetting), Born August 2, 1830

Martin-Mathew Ford and Lydia Griffin were married in 1684. They lived in Bradford, Massachusetts (now Haverhill). Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Nebraska, Canada, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Michigan, Colorado, and elsewhere. John Jacob Mench (1826-1902) and Mary Vetting Mench (1830-1900) were born in Germany and immigrated to the U.S. ca. 1850. They settled in Port Austin, Michigan ca. 1871, after moving from Canada. Their daughter, Mary, married Alfred Ford, son of Charles Mann Ford and Lizana Brown Ford in 1887 at Port Austin.
