Ronald Kramer worked in broadcasting at radio stations in Cleveland and Chicago and as a director for the ABC Radio Network, before settling into teaching radio and television, initially at Lewis and Clark College in Portland and later at Southern Oregon University (SOU) in Ashland. He has served as Executive Director of SOU?s 22-station public radio network, Jefferson Public Radio, since 1974, while also consulting for the Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and a variety of other organizations.
