Emerging Technologies in Malaysia and ASEAN: Selected Legal and Policy Issues

Reflected in Malaysia's commitment to implement the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals is the need to build an inclusive and sustainable society; a society that prioritises the people, their future and development. Focused on legal and policy challenges surrounding emerging, innovative and environmentally sound technologies, the various chapters in this book address issues such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, ICT and nanotechnology, it's adequacy, and if more can be done towards building such a society. These issues are examined from a national and regional perspective.
