I actually was given a copy of "Politics as a Vocation" that doesn't include "Science", so technically I've only read half of this book. What I did read, however, was excellent. Über den Autor (2004)

Weber was a professor at the University of Heidelberg. Acknowledged as one of the greatest of the founders of sociology, his influence has yet to reach its peak.

David Owen is on the staffs of both The New Yorker and Golf Digest. A frequent contributor to The Atlantic Monthly, and the author of nine previous books, he lives in Washington, Connecticut.

The author of Friedrich Nietzche: The Politics of Transfiguration and Tight in Her Soul: The Life of Anna Louis Strong, Tracy B. Strong is Professor of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego.

Rodney Livingstone is Professor Emeritus in German Studies at the University of Southampton. He is well known as a translator of books by Walter Benjamin, Theodor W. Adorno, and Max Weber, among others.
